Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

2019-2020

We welcome all of you and encourage you to become an active participant in your child (ren) school. Studies have shown that our children will be more successful if parents are involved in their child's education.

Parent Teacher Organizations are made up of volunteer parents, teachers, students, and the school Principal. They have a cooperative goal to provide special programs, equipment and opportunities that enhance children’s education. These goals can only be met with participation from parents and guardians.

Each school has a PTO meeting once a month. Your opportunity to join the PTO occurs at the beginning of the school year.  Your involvement depends on your interest, i.e., cultural arts, publicity, etc. and your available time. Each pair of hands provides tremendous help.

We are all about the Community, Parents, School, and Students working together toward a common goal; which is creating a better school and a better educational experience for our children. We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers, administrators, and support staff can do their best work - and so can our children. There's so much more that can be done, and we need your help. The motto of the Dade Middle School PTO is " Many hands make light work" We look forward to seeing all that can be and will be accomplished this school year when we come together, as a group and as a community to enhance and maximize the education of every child.
